Macro photography became my hobby many many moons ago

This is a picture of Spud Wood, home of most of my finds though not all, I do walk around Lymm Dam, Rixton clay pits even the Woolston eye...

Holidays are no excuse to leave my macro kit at home & so some of the images will be from far and wide, but the majority will be UK !

So where on earth is Spud Wood, there are very few houses along Stage Lane so the entrance & car park is between post codes

WA13 9JP & WA13 9HZ

It's in Lymm, (my home town/village) Cheshire...

Lymm itself is a very picturesque quiet (ish) place and to see more here is my Flickr site with several references to Lymm, & plenty of pictures...

Hope you enjoy & thnx for looking
